If you only have two minutes

Copy exactly two lines:

  1. My chosen domain and smallest useful step are: ….
  2. My boundary and review or help route are: ….

Those two lines are a complete rebuild draft; they do not prove recovery, create a legal or financial decision, or replace professional support. You may stop here.

What this lesson is for

Functioning is not a character score. After an episode there is often a gap between the life you had and the life you can currently run, and the standard advice — take it slowly — is useless because it does not say slowly at what. This chapter picks one thing and sizes it honestly.

Scan three areas, then choose one. Work or study. Money. Relationships. Looking at all three is how you find the one worth reopening; working on all three at once is how the step never gets taken.

You leave with one step sized to the capacity, access and permission you actually have right now.

Only in the video

The video holds three things a worksheet flattens.

  • Three areas of life scanned without ranking any of them, which is harder than it sounds and easier to watch than to read.
  • Why the money and work lanes need their own care, including where this Program stops and a qualified adviser starts.
  • One step sized out loud, including the moment it is too big and gets made smaller.

This Program does not recommend a medicine, compare doses, select a treatment, or tell you to start, stop, restart, taper, change or combine anything. If you're considering a change, contact the professional who knows your situation before you act — and if it's urgent, use an urgent route.

The Bipolar Stability Program

Twenty-four short lessons. One workbook. Free.

Each lesson is a short video and one chapter you can print and write on. You don't sign up, you don't give an email, and there's nothing to pay — not now, not later.

René has lived with bipolar disorder for over 25 years. He built this program out of the 14 months he spent in a hospital psychoeducation group, the published Barcelona manual, and the sources psychiatry actually works from. It's a syllabus: the map and the words to take to the people who treat you.

You're on lesson 23 of 24.
